You do a lot for your family. Taking care of you will only make it easier to be there for them. A calm mom is a happier and healthier one.
Self-care hacks you can actually fit into your day:
- Ask for a hug. You know when your kids need one. What about you? Hugs boost the “cuddle” hormone in your brain, so fit a few more into your day.*
- Start an “LOL” chat. Create a group text with your friends where the sole purpose is to share something to make each other laugh. Laughter is great therapy.
- Learn to delegate. Remember, you’re not the only one responsible for chores.
